Witches Gather on Paddleboards

Here is something out of the ordinary! Since it is coming up to Halloween, how about this story from the US;

The second annual Witch paddleboard and photoshoot took place in Royston, Vancouver Island – British Colombia. A coven of witches gathered to share in some paddleboarding, cackling and fun, all in the name of charity.

The idea came about when photographer Sarah Buckley-Jones wanted a way to gather her community for a good time, whilst simultaneously getting her name out as a photographer. The natual solution for this of course was to host a witches paddleboarding event.

More than 60 witches paddleboarded infront of onlookers across the Royston shoreline, which is apparently 60x as many as last year.

Aside from having a horrifically fun time, 100% of proceeds go to charity. We love quirky and unique stories like this that truly celebrate the rise of stand up paddleboarding popularity
